Champion Pizza Ludlow in New York City

Honestly this is some of the best pizza if you are out late at night and need some dough and cheese in your life. Even though the cheese slices are 2 bucks (at least that's what they charge weekend nights) the quality of pizza is very good and definitely hits the mark for authentic New York style pizza. There are a lot of crappy pizza spits out there so if you just want to play it safe after having a few too many, make sure that you dont pass this place up. The pepperoni slices and margherita pizza are good as well, but sticking with regular cheese is most likely the way to go for your wallet.

My favorite stop Champion pizza while in NYC. I have taken my closest friends and my little brother - always great pizza and a memorable time. Loved the Oscar the hoya picture on the wall from his visit. Hope to visit again very soon!

Subpar for NYC

Great pizza. The availability of different toppings makes for a very specified craving every now and again. I like the crisp crust and find the other ingredients to be good, quality products. I don't think I've had a bad meal here.

They have better garlic powder than other places. It's a fine dust. But not the best Champion pizza I've been to

We walked for over 20 min to try this pizza place and we weren’t let down. The pizza is amazing the owner is awesome we’re from FL and we are definitely impressed

Worker was very rude i said i didnt want the pizza because it was burnt he got upset and slammed the pizza down in the garbage and was very rude after 12/11/18 11:30am

I used to enjoy coming here until I noticed the "B" health inspection rating on the front door! They try to hide it by keeping the front door open all day so you can't see the paper. IF YOU VALUE YOUR HEALTH, DON'T EAT HERE! 🐁 ☠ 🤢

The pizza was great, but we were unable to order the whole pepperoni pizza we wanted, he either couldn't or wouldn't make it, we had to get slices instead. This was weird, considering it was just pepperoni and only 7:00pm.

Best Pizza for a Buck you can buy!! Great service too!! I asked Server "Please heat it up, but not too crispy, and cut the slice in half"; LOL. He raised his eyebrow a bit, but gave me service with a smile!!

Walked in at midnight. Cheese slices and garlic knots. The slice was everything you want it to be. Knots were fluffy and fresh. Four stars because we sat upstairs and it was hot and steaming, almost sadistically.

I really enjoy coming here, I also admire all the photographs of the celebrities that have been to this location. Its a really cool spot to grab a quick slice.

Solid place, tasty pizza, as cheap as it promises. The upstairs space is nice but hot, and there's no washroom to clean your hands up afterwards

There's usually a wait - but it's well worth it!! Just ate there again last week and it was everything I remembered and then some!

Pizza arrived wet and was stuck in the pizza box. The restaurant management took no responsibility and blamed it on the delivery guy??? They also refused to exchange my pizza or issue a refund! Do yourself a favor and order from the many other pizza places around the city that will deliver you a nice pizza with no unnecessary headaches!

Pizza was only reheated for a minute so it was still cold when they served it to me. At least it was cheap and servers were quick.

Great Pizzaria and very spacious but upstairs sitting area is very hot with insufficient cooling otherwise pizza is descent tasting depending on the day but very much affordable.

We visited this place last weekend. As always, staff is great and food and ambience are very good. Prices are very reasonable too and great for kids. We will visit again and again.....

Just tried them for the first time after reading all of these great reviews. The staff was extremely friendly, plenty of vegetarian options, and the plain slice was amazing. If you can impress me with cheese and bread you're doing something right. Highly recommended.

The pizza has too little sauce and the cheese is kinda waxy and not stretchy. Worth it if you only have 2 bucks otherwise there are definitely better options for 75 cents more.
